Michelle Esparza

Paralegal

Michelle is a Native Houstonian. She attended San Jacinto Community College, earning an associate degree in Paralegal Education and a place on the Dean’s List. She was an active member of the Paralegal Club at San Jacinto and coordinated several fundraising projects. Since joining Fulkerson Lotz LLP in 2007, she has provided a full range of paralegal support in litigation matters. Michelle has assisted the attorneys at several hearings and trials throughout the years in state and federal court. Michelle is detailed-oriented and has significant experience with e-filing, electronic document management, investigative research, and trial presentation systems.

Sandy D. Torres

Office Administrator/Paralegal

Sandy was born in El Campo, Texas, and grew up in Houston. She graduated from Westbury High School in 1983 and attended Southwestern Paralegal Institute in 2001. She is a member of Association of Legal Administrators. She began her career as a legal assistant in 1987 and began working as a paralegal/and legal administrator in 2001 and has more than 30 years of experience as a legal professional. She has provided paralegal services on pro bono adoption cases as part of the Houston Bar Association’s Child Abuse and Adoption Committee, and as a committee chair-person for HYLA Adopt-an-Angel Program and volunteered for the Bears for Babies for National Adoption Day which is an event hosted by Harris County CPS.

Stephanie Burns

Legal Assistant

Stephanie was born in Norman, Oklahoma and is a true Sooner. She obtained her legal secretary certification in 1995, paralegal certification in 2009, along with a specialty certification in Texas Civil Litigation in 2002 and has over 30 years of legal experience. We are pleased to have Stephanie as a member of the firm since July of 2019.

Adrianna Corona

Legal Assistant

Adrianna is a native Houstonian. She graduated from Milby High School and continued her education at Houston Community College, earning an associate degree in Paralegal Studies. During her time at HCC, she also earned legal experience in criminal and family law along with personal injury. Adrianna joined our firm in September of 2020.
